THE BEST CASE FOR PALM CENTRO
Its THE BEST!
The metal case secures your palm centro and there is no moving or shifting with the padding on the inside.
You can access the stylett, use all the key pads and buttons, and it is well constructed and durable.
If there was a negative, (in which I dont think so, but wanted to let others know), is that the screen is protected by the hard clear plastic cover and if your a person who uses the stylett and touch screen, you will have to open the case or just get used to using the buttons to utilize the screen info.
overall.
I am very pleased for the money, there is NO BETTER case out there for the palm centro.

I have had a few other cases designed for the palm centro and none compare to this one.Its THE BEST!

Perfect fit and finish
Another bonus is the little nubs that act as mini stands so when you are playing music or other audio you can hear much better.
Finally, all the cut outs are spot on. A+ on this case!!

Quality protection
You can use this to either clip on a belt, or with two twists, remove the "hanger button" from the back, and slip the case into your pocket. The design cleverly protects the phone, but leaves every port and button accessible, including the IR port on the side, and even the lanyard connection on the bottom.
The case also has the added benefit of allowing you to use the unit face-up, when listening to audio, or when using it as a speaker phone (generally, you would have put the phone face-down, because the speaker is on the back). The case lifts the speaker off the surface its sitting on, and even creates a resonance chamber that improves the sound quality and volume, especially on a wood surface.
The neoprene lining fits nice and snug. Even if the lid is open, the unit wont fall out on its own. I havent dropped my phone yet, but I dont doubt that it would survive unscathed were that to happen.
Ive gone into several Sprint stores looking for an audio plug converter (dont bother - you have to order them from Palm), and every time, the guys working there noticed the case hanging from my belt, and asked where they could get one. Like me, they werent impressed by the "official" cases available, especially the clear plastic one.

Best thing about this is the integrated screen protector. Modern, correctly written Palm apps should be controllable via the keyboard and navigation ring. While the unit has a touch-screen, you rarely need to actually touch it. But if you do, just pop the lid open, and youre good to go. Nice Case
I used a dremmel tool with a tungsten cutter bit to cut out the plexi window. Sanded it off and I did what should have been done in the first place. Now I have easy access to my touch screen and I use after market screen protectors for the screen. So There!!!
Buy this product and cut out the screen if you dont like it.

Pros: sleek, solid, cushioned for shock
Cons: Why do case manufacturers put plexi glass over touch screens?

I just got the silver one and it is indeed awesome, the only problem i have with it and this may be that i was mistaken in my thinking when buying a case, is that it puts a protective window over the screen so when the case is on there is no way of utilizing the touch screen, however it opens very easily ( I think i was thinking more of skin like than case when i bought it). Still overall an awesome case, nice feel, and a really nice look.
